We use it on our covered terrace during warm evenings. It is quiet enough that it does not interrupt conversations, and the enclosed trapping system feels cleaner than using sprays around the family. I recommend turning it on before sunset for better results.
Setup took only a few minutes. The fan noise is low and the trap fits neatly into our indoor space without taking up much room.
